Answers of Henry Bradshaw to the Bill of Complaint of Thomas Starke: July 9, 1700.
In September 1698 he was master and part owner of the African Galley which Starke hired for a voyage to Guinea and Maryland.  The ship was delayed in sailing through negligence of Robert Pullen, the carpenter engaged to repair the ship.  The only cargo carried were some firearms which Bradshaw agreed to sell abroad.  Details of the voyage.  Called in at St. Thomasís to get water but denies landing at Virginia as alleged by Starke.  Details of the sale of the Negroes.
